What a grade set costs, grade by grade
Every parent’s first question in August. The short answer: grades 1–5 cost less because they have eight subjects, grades 6–9 cost more because they have twelve. The long answer is below, with a price table read straight from the catalogue.
What sets the price
The number of subjects, and almost nothing else. A grade-seven set has twelve titles, a grade-two set has eight — and that accounts for the whole gap between a lower grade and a middle one. The publisher does not change the amount: for any given grade, all six approved publishers cost the same with us. So choosing a publisher is a question of what the school asks for, not of what you pay — and there is no need to compare prices from one publisher to the next.
The table is read from the catalogue, not typed by hand
The numbers below are not text in this article: they are computed from the same catalogue that serves the set pages, at the moment the page opens. When a price changes, the table changes with it. That is deliberate — an article with stale prices is worse than an article with no prices.

The price is the same across every publisher that covers that grade. Delivery of 5,00 € is added once per order, not per set.
Delivery is five euro, once
Five euro per order, however many books it holds and for however many children. On a full set that is under ten per cent of the order; on a single book it is much more noticeable. If you need two or three titles, it is worth taking them in one order.
How to pay less, legitimately
Remove the titles the family already has. In households with two or three children, art, music and physical education often pass from one child to the next without trouble, because they change rarely from year to year. The set page keeps the price updated as you remove, so you see the effect before you decide. Check the optional subjects your school list does not ask for, too.
Prices include VAT and do not move after confirmation
Every price on the site is in euro and includes VAT — nothing is added at checkout except delivery. The price shown in your cart at the moment of confirmation is the price you pay. If a price displays incorrectly for a technical reason, we tell you before confirming the order and you can cancel at no cost.
